EX-PTZ D series

The EX-PTZ D camera housing is a rugged corrosion proof dual head camera station designed for use in onshore, offshore, marine and heavy industrial environments. The combination of thermal imaging and daylight cameras facilitates 24/7 remote camera surveillance and analytics. The camera housing is not sold separately, it is only available in combination with a Siqura daylight camera module, such as the BC822v2H3-AS, a thermal module from the TC-336 or TC-640 series, and an interface (INT-RJ)

Description

Thermal imaging
The EX-PTZ D is fitted with a germanium window, which makes the camera suitable for long-wave infrared (LWR)  thermal imaging. Siqura's TC-336 and TC-640 thermal modules are made to fit this camera. Its grid protected window it suitable for lenses from 9 mm up to 50 mm.

Day-light camera
The other head is fitted with Siqura's 30x zoom ip camera, the bc822v2H3-AS. This head is standard equipped with a wiper and prepared for a washer installation. A 10 litre pressurized washer tank can be obtained separately.

Corrosion free 316L construction
The dual head PTZ camera is made of corrosion proof 316L stainless steel suited to operate in salty or sulfur rich environments. The hard carbon coated germanium window is additionally protected by a 316L grid.

ATEX and IECEx certified
The EX-PTZ D is fully ATEX and IECEx certified for hazardous areas zone 1 and 2 for gas and zone 21 and 22 for dust. The certification includes the daylight camera (BC822v2H3-AS), the  thermal module from the TC-336 or TC-640 series and a 5 or 10 m multicable cable tail as defined by INT-RJ. (Direct to fiber connection is not supported in the dual PTZ)

Integrated  heaters
Both camera heads are fitted with a thermal controlled heater. It regulates the humidity inside the camera and prevents ice or condensation forming on the germanium or optical window.
