At the request of the Council for the Judiciary, the Central Government Real Estate Agency commissioned new accommodation for the Amsterdam Court House at its current location in Amsterdam’s Zuidas district. In 2016, the Central Government Real Estate Agency granted the commission for the new building to consortium NACH: New Amsterdam Court House, which is a partnership between KAAN Architecten, Heijmans, Macquarie Capital, Facilicom, ABT, DVP, BiUM and Bouwbedrijf M.J. de Nijs & Zonen. The building is expected to be operational in late 2020, after which 1,000 court employees and 200 chain partner employees will work there on a daily basis. The consortium calls it a ‘building in which security is paramount’. Siqura is responsible for supplying all of the cameras for this project. The more than 600 cameras will be linked to high-tech systems such as crowd detection and are part of an integrated security solution. Siqura has commenced delivery of the cameras.
